APT fertilizer is a fertilizer brand from Singapore that specializes in all-in-one comprehensive fertilizer for various types of planted aquariums. It is a brand created by hobbyists for hobbyists. In particular, the legendary Dennis Wong, who is famously known as one of the best aquatic horticulturalists and aquascapers in this hobby, has created this fertilizer.
At this moment in time, I am currently selling APT Complete which is the best selling product of the APT fertilizer line. It is an all-in-one formula designed to fit the needs of the vast majority of planted tanks. Its formula has been carefully created with an emphasis on plant health, color, and algae control. It works for both hightech and lowtech tanks.
How does APT Complete compare to other types of fertilizer on the market?
APT complete is not as macro-rich as most other commercially available all-in-one fertilizers, which are based off of the EI method. Additionally, the micronutrient formula in APT Complete is specialized for aquatic plants and not based off of micro recipes that are more suited for terrestrial plant growth. This is a perfect fertilizer for those who want to take the guesswork out of dosing, and for those who want to keep their nitrate levels lower. This fertilizer can grow the easiest and hardest plants available in this hobby.
I have used many different fertilizers over the past few years, and have carefully tested APT Complete across various different tanks since late 2019. This fertilizer can be used for both hightech and lowtech aquariums! Dosage may need to be modified for a lowtech aquarium, but it certainly works wonderfully on both types of aquariums.

How long will this fertilizer last in my aquarium?
It is recommended to dose 5mL four times a week in a 100L aquarium. The time your bottle lasts will depend on how much you dose and the size of your aquarium.
For instance, a 500ml bottle should last a 20 gallon aquarium approximately 7.5 months at the recommended dosage rates.
