So guy in my previous thread I had my 10 gallon tank with the Dwarf Gourami... The moment you've all been waiting for. I donated it back to the fish store. Let me show you my new stock.
×6 ember tetras
×2 sparkling gouramis
×2 hasbrosus cories
×a bunch of ludwigia stuff (rooting in real well)
×amazon swords
×java ferns
So my sparkling gourami has been in my tank for about 1 month and it has been really timid and either laying on leaves or on the substrate. My other sparkling gourami is actually rather active and checks on the other gourami and its almost like its protecting it. My sparkling gourami doesn't appear to be pregnant but could it be? I was also thinking it was some sort of parasite but I couldn't spot anything. Just in case, I added API General Medicine and it didn't really do anything. Could it be that the sparkling gourami is afraid of the more active ember tetras? I'm really not sure what the problem is because the other sparkling Gourami was fairly active.
