Sorority Vacation Feeding

I'm hoping to pick all betta sorority owners' brains here.
I am currently in the process of setting up a betta sorority/community tank. So far the community fish are all settled in and I am hoping to add in the bettas soon.
I am thinking ahead to the next couple of weeks/months and I have a few vacations coming up, ranging from just a couple days to over 1 week. I know the general rule is that fish can go up to 10 days without feeds, but I am wondering if the same is true for betta sororities? When the fish start to get hungry, will they start to go after the other fish or each other? I just don't want to come home from one of those trips to find that one of my fish has been sacrificed as food for the others!
If any of you have any tips or advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!! :shame:

I'd use an autofeeder, but they can be pricey. As for how the Bettas will act after that amount of time without food, I'm unsure.. I've only ever fasted mine for a day.
