Something Sticking Out Of My Guppy?

Hello! I have a female guppy with something sticking out of her belly. Yesterday evening and this morning I noticed that her belly was getting sort of misshapeb, almost boxy. Like it looked like something was going to poke through, and then apparently that's what happened. Her stomach is not as misshapen anymore, but what appears to be something sharp or at least stiff (it doesn't bend when she swims around) is sticking out . Could it be a parasite or something?

 

I’ve never kept guppies before, but it looks as if she’s giving birth? I believe they’re livebearers like platy.

Eek! I hope it’s not for fish’s sake :0 I suppose only time will tell with whatever comes out :0

 

Well I'm not sure what it was, but it seems to have come out and the fish is okay!? I thought it was a worm too, but the weird thing was it looked really stiff, like it didn't bend at all. I'm looking out for signs of others in the tank having problems, but they seem okay. Although my Molly has been hiding more than usual?
