I have spent weeks thinking I had some sort of deficiency in my tank ruining my swords. I redid my tank and pruned all the bad leaves. This is 2 days later. The only fish I’ve seen touch them is my rainbow sharks, but my guess is my BN plecos are doing the snacking. How do I make them stop?

Plecos are native to the same area amazon swords are, so it’s a natural food source to them. Maybe put a cage around them? I don’t think you can get fish to stop eating plants completely.

I seriously doubt it are the BN's, but at least feed them enough vegs to provide them with enough green.

My swords always had holes in them and I tried every fert to try and get them to grow then i took one out and it took off. Turns out my yoyo loaches were eating all the new growth.
