Someone Asked About Using Sand And Gravel

I was asked to post photos of the aquarium I did this in, but I can not find the thread. I just found the photos. As you can see the curved glass of the bow front distorts the image badly. Which is why it is sitting empty in the basement now.

The kuhli loaches loved the sand "pool."

It's still beautiful!
I didn't like a whole lot of gravel with the sand, but I have just a handful of gravel in my sand

When I first set it up all the black sand was in the pool. The contrast with the white gravel looked good. But within 2 weeks the squiggles managed to spread all over.

Im not a fan of bow fronts too. I like the sand pool idea.
