Hi folks. I was wondering if there are breeds of fish that are content in a community tank without having to have others of their own breed. It seems all the fish I like do best in groups. My tank has 7Giant Danios, 6 Corys, 3 Platys and a Rubbernose Pleco. Thanks.

Maybe a dwarf gourami??!!
Hmmmm. I just did a little research and that makes some sense. They actually recommend not putting two two together. My one concern is how one would do with a school of giant danios. I've read that slower fish get spooked by the danios and have a hard time getting to food before the danios gobble it all up. Definitely considering it. My wife loves them.

Maybe a moonlight or skakeskin gourami. If you want a fish to hold their own in there, maybe on of the 3 spot varieties?
