Soil With Shrimp?

    Will the soil be good for a tank that will have just shrimp/snails? I will cap it with fluorite.

    The soil still gets really messy. You think you won't disturb the soil bed, but it happens. If your going for a planted aquarium, go with ada's amazonia.

    Thank you but unfortunately I live in rural Newfoundland and it is not possible for me to get something like that easily.

    I already have black fluorite but it's not quite enough.

    I have had sand capped dirt tanks before but they only had fish. I'm just nervous about the soil with shrimp because they are so sensitive.
