Soaking Purigen

I should have taken a before pic, but it was pretty brown before. It’s only been soaking for 3 1/2 hours and it looks new. Should I keep it soaking until tomorrow or is it safe to take it out and rinse it and soak it in dechlorinated water?

I just follow the instructions.

Soak it for the full 24hrs. I tried a shorter soak once and it needed to be regenerated before a month when it normally lasts me almost 3.

I left my Purigen out of the filter for a day and I was going to soak it today in bleach. Will it still be good even after being left out?

I have left mine out and were dry, only to use them again and have gone though multiple recharges.
Mine did not appear to lose any performance.

they may crack due to contraction and expansion, but they still work.
