Hey fishlore,

So, as the title say, I took down my freshwater tanks because having 3 up hurt the state of every tank. Having one that I focus on seems to leave them much better off, so I have just put up my 125g.... it's dirted with a layer of pea gravel on top and a layer of kitty litter underneath.

It is a drilled 6' tank, with a 49 gallon sumo underneath running a wet/dry filter.

Here's the stocking:

14x congo tetras
6x rummynose tetras
6x bloodfin tetras
3x Australian rainbowfish
2x kribensis (breeders)
2x peacock gudgeons
1x Blue ram(male)
1x E. Blue acara(juv)
1x dwarf tatanI cichlid (juv)
1x rainbow cichlid (juv)
1x spotted bristlenose pleco(female)
1x African dwarf frog
1x albino rainbow shark
1x new guinea rainbowfish
1x bosmanI rainbowfish

I'd post a pic, but it looks like fishlore doesn't want that to happen

Unfortunately I don't think your frog will last long in there The tank may be too tall for him to easily surface, and he'll definitely be outcompeted for food.

+1 on frog not lasting long in the tank.

Animals are my life. If there weren't animals I wouldn't exist.

The adf is actually from the 29, where I trained him to follow my hand for food. So he gets hand fed black and blood worms 4 times a week, plus he scavenges black worms from the mass feedings everyday.

The substrate layers total to about 5 inches and the tank is about an inch low because it is drilled giving him a bit more than 1.33 feet to the surface. That distance is actually less than he was use to in my 29h, where he was residing for the last 11 months.

Hopefully he won't be eaten by your cichlids or shark either. I wouldn't expect him to live long in this setup. Poor guy probably gets exhausted swimming to the surface.

I share your concern. My African clawed frogs need personal attention.

@,

I've just read your profile, I am impressed. For a college kid with a fish tank you've made the right decision putting all of them into one tank, although I might have made different arrangements for the frog, you are doing fine.

Good luck and Hi5!
