After the death of my endlers tank mates I decided to get him a few new friends so got 4 more endler hybrids and as I'm acclimating them now I've found a 5th and because fo where I got them from it could either be an endler or guppy but because of how small it is I don't actually know how to acre for such a small baby, I'm worried about putting my filter on beacsue it's a hang on the back.

Is there any specific wya I should raise it or should I keep my filter off and do more regular water changes up until its bigger.

It's maybe 3mm long. Absolutely tiny.

Add a prefilter sponge to the intake of your HOB. You can also switch to a sponge filter but the first option is cheaper.

Congrats!!!!!

What food do you feed adults?

Crush up flakes in between your fingers like powder that should be small enough.

A prefilter is best but you can fashion some other filter media w rubber band or zip tie in mean time.

I removed the plats a while ago beacsue of rot but I have bio film and I know someone who's tank is just full of the stuff so I'll ask them to spare me a bit of water because the don't live too far away if the baby isn't eating the crushed pellets

Biofilm does not live in water column so getting water is useless. Biofilm is on surfaces. Have you seen it peck the walls or decorations?

Yeah, it's floats around my tank in patches, and when is said I would ask for water I mean that I would ask for them to skim the surface for film sorry if I came across not as I meant it.

Yeah, the adults aren't bothered by the baby either so I expect it to be fine. I'm just hunting for a sponge because I don't have any spare filter cartridges.

Another good food for fry is the yoke of a hard boiled egg. But feed very sparingly by using a toothpick or a bbq skewer n put just a touch on the tip n stir it in some tank water n pour it in the guppies go crazy for it as well as a lot of other fish. Great protein
