One of my favourite albino Cory's I just found dead while doing a water change. Rip little fellow.. you were a great fish and we enjoyed your time we had with you.

Might go get another this weekend. Not sure what kind yet... I love the albino but my peppers are rather cute too.

do you happen to know the reason?

Could be the meds I used... E.M. Erythomycin... but I thought I got it out. I also had moved it from my smaller tank to my community tank. I did acclimate it by adding water gradually as suggested by some people on here.... no other fish are ill. He did look a little large in the belly last week.... not sure what disease Cory fish can get.

Cory's are susceptible to the same maladies as other fish.

He was a bit.... not all together when I found him. His tank mates must have snacked on him while I was working. I can only speculate he didn't adjust to the move but I'll keep an eye on the others in the tank for signs of disease.

I'm still a newbie with not much experience with fish disease.
