Snails and Salty Shrimp Minerals?

Is is safe to use Salty Shrimp brand shrimp minerals with Mystery Snails?I just purchased some as I have very soft water and am tired of grinding cuttlebone to raise the hardness. The tank is a dirted tank with two mystery snails, 1 nerite snail, lots of pond snails, dwarf ramshorns, and red cherry shrimp. I have noticed that my mystery snails have been more sluggish lately so I want to change out more water than I usually would - hence the need for the salty shrimp. Also, does anyone know what would bother snails but not shrimp? My red cherries are doing very well with tons of babies, but the mystery snails have become lethargic lately and one is not eating like he used to.

Thanks for any help!

You could try a little bit of crushed coral, usually you start with just a handful but how big is the tank?

In answer to your original question salty shrimp will raise your parameters and should be 100% safe for everything in your tank. Please use it as directed...

It sounds as if your shrimp are doing well, but I would like to offer a tip please use caution on large water changes shrimp will have molt issues if large water changes are done. An acceptable amount is 10-15% weekly, and added slowly and matching your tanks parameters including temperature.

Thanks so much, everyone! I always drip in any water I am adding over a period of several hours, pretty much all day. This is probably overkill but I’m new to shrimp keeping so I’m extra cautious.
