Hitch-hikers are common on plants.
Are they invasive type? Or is it okay to be kept in tank

Some keep, some get rid of them. All your choice! Seems over-feeding is the key to breeding.

I agree with gasio, seems to be a baby mystery or a ramshorn. You can remove it and put it in a separate container or leave it be. Ramshorns can rapidly multiply if the food source is high in the tank. It really depends one what you want to do. They have their benefits. Algae eating. General clean up. But some ppl find them unsightly

It's hard to tell from the pic if the shell spins out or not. If its all tucked in its more than likely a ramshorn snail. If it sticks out from the side maybe a mystery snail. RH are "pest" snails. They come with plants usually. Don't overfeeding and they will be ok.

I suspect it to be a ramshorn. If you have one you probably have more you've just not seen yet. This is a chance we take when adding live plants to our tanks. Ramshorns are prolific breeders so before long you will have lots of them. They do have their place in our hobby. They are great cleaners. If you can keep their numbers under control you may enjoy them in your tank.

When I very first got what I considered infested with ramshorns I just wanted them gone. Since then I have gained a lot of respect for them and ended up setting up a 2.5 gallon jar just for them.
