Snail recommendations

I am looking for a good alternative to Nerite snails. I have two of them in my 20 gallon and there are eggs everywhere. I don't necessarily mind it in that tank but would like to avoid the egg apocalypse in my 10 gallon Betta tank.

I was thinking of getting two snails to put with the Betta. Nerites are great cleaners and I do need some diatoms cleared (initial bloom from cycle), but ya know..the egg issue.

So recommendations on a species that cleans well, doesn't leave eggs everywhere and won't have a population explosion. I don't mind a few babies, that is manageable. I just don't want an invasion.

Thanks!

Piano snail?
I just looked them up. They seem great but my concern is there eyes/antennas. Just received the Betta today so I can't gauge his character yet. If he turns out to be a bit on the aggressive side he may see those antennas as a little snack.

I hear ramshorns are good cleaners but they will have a population explosion.
Rabbit snails will have some babies but are manageable.... I'm not sure how they are on algae though.
Mystery snails won't have babies unless you want them to but from my experience they don't do much algae wise. They also could attract your betta with its antennas.
Japanese trapdoor snails might be a good option?
I also like my horned pagoda snail but I have no idea how he is on algae.

Amano shrimp are good algae eaters and aren't as tasty looking to a betta as neos might be.

From what I know about nerite snails, they can't reproduce in freshwater. But I am not for sure on this. I thing eggs are probably all you will have a problem with because they want hatch, but I could be wrong.

You are correct. It's just the eggs bedazzled all over the place. My fiance wants to avoid that in her Betta tank. This is tough!

Thanks! I'll take a look at the trapdoor snails! May have to go with Amanos!
