Snail Quarantine

I have my new snails in quarantine for the moment. Two gold Inca snails and three zebra nerites.
How long should I keep them there for? I got them last night at 8:30pm, and it’s about 9:30 in the morning now. Both gold Incas are up and alert, moving around and exploring their area, and the nerites are kinda just chillin on the glass. They ate half an algae wafer last night, and there’s a chunk of cuttlebone weighed by a binder clip for them to eat as well. One of the Inca snails has a clear patch on his shell so I’m giving them calcium.
These snails were at petco, dunno if that’s important but they were in little fish breeding containers in with the plants. They’re going to my 30 gallon tank

Three black skirt tetras and four serpae. An anubias nana and moss ball too. I’m planning on expanding the schools soon

 

Probably worth mentioning that I’m using water from my 30 gallons tank in the quarantine to get them acclimated to the parameters. They were with some plants that I believe might not be as good at filtering ammonia

 

Generally snails don't carry diseases that affect fish, but its possible for them to carry hitchhiker's even ich spores, I think most people still quarantine them for 2 weeks

I don’t see any hitchhikers so far, not that I would mind, my tetras like to spit food out onto the ground. I don’t know where they would get ich from, unless they carried it their whole lives. I’m gonna keep them in there until I get back here on Sunday

 

If they are new snails the ich would come from the tank they were in, I'm wondering why you say carry ich all of their lives that's impossible

 

Yeah, I would second the idea of two weeks. If the snails have any hitchhikers or other issues you would be able to see them by them.
