Snail Infested

My 75 gallon is now infested with snails.
Yesterday I got 2 assassin snails to help with that(tho so far ive seen them do nothing)
I was told they won't even make a dent, but still got 2 JUST so they can keep the population spawning down to a minimum. I don't mind afew pest snails so the assassins can eat, I just don't want them everywhere like they are now.

These snails are still extremely small, but they are absolutely everywhere.

I was thinking about starting to mantually pick them out like I did before(I swear I got all of them, but I guess not)
I do have 2 nerite snails, and I'm worried if I start mantually picking them out, my new assassins will go for them since the pest snail population will be low.

What do you guys think I should do?

Another way is to lay a piece of lettuce overnight and in the morning it’ll be full of snails. You can throw it out but check to be sure your assassin snails or nerites aren’t on it.

Ive done the lettuce before, same with lettuce inside a trap. The pest snails don't care for it. My nerts do tho lol

They do like my rocks full of algae tho, I always find tons on them.
Should I start mantually taking them out is the question.. I rather not have my assassins kill me nerts(tho I know its a possibility of it anyways)

Yeah you can take them out Manually if you’d like. It would take forever for the assassin snails to kill them all.

If they don't go for lettuce, try algae pellets, the ones for plecos, in a jar. I find they work better for trumpet snails.

Would the assassin snails eat the nerite nails or are they too big?

Assassins will eat nerites. They will go for the pest snails first (as they are smaller) but they will then move on to the nerites if there are no pests left to eat.

I had a goldfish eat all the pond snails in my Tank. Took about a week in a 20g.
