I have had my tank for about a month now and I have just noticed that there is a snail in there and I don't know where it has come from. Is it dangerous to my fish or is it ok to leave it in there? Any ideas??

Did you recently add any new rocks or live plants?

Snails are good for your tank. They eat leftover food and clean the tank, but there is one drawback. The problem is that they might overpopulate the tank.

usually you don'r over populate if you don't overfeed. they will grow according to how much food they have
