Snail For Betta In 20 Litres (5gal) Tank? Question

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew and good snails (if there are any) for my 5gal/20L tank with just my Betta in. I previously had a shrimp but... that ended up with a half eaten shrimp. Would the snail be able to defend itself better? Are there and requirements for your recommended snail (hiding spots, plants, drops, etc..)?
    Thank you!

You could do 1 mystery or nerite snail...nerite will lay ugly eggs though but they wont hatch. And just make sure you have a good calcium source for the snails shell. I use weco wonder shells and my snails are doing great! They are all over my glass and very rarely are they were i cant see them so i dont think hiding is an issue..also vegetable and algae sinking wafers on hand for the little guy.

Yes but in large clutches above the water that you can easily remove

Nerite snails are recommended if you want snails because they have shorter antennas that are unlikely to get nipped off.
