Snail Farming

I turned my 2.5 gallon acrylic tank into a ramshorn snail farm. I took all the snails I caught in my betta tank and put them in there with a cuttle bone, a mini-heater, and a sponge filter. I feed them an algae tab every few days, plus some blanched vegetables (lettuce and cucumber).
After a few weeks, I started seeing eggs on the glass. This week, the first batch started hatching.
I originally wanted them for puffer food. But even if I don't get a puffer, I'm enjoying this. Maybe I'll put an add on craigslist and give some away.

Yup they will keep going and going. I'm currently doing the same thing with 30 gallon while I cycle it
