Does anyone know of a way to scrape the snail eggs off of the glass without killing the yolks and still hatch them in a jar? I’m trying to reduce my snail population.

What type of snails?
Mystery clutches are easy - wiggle them a bit and they will pop off.
Ramshorn are pretty easy too, just take something flat (like a credit card) and scrape from one side (careful, they will fall in the water though and not stick to the card!)
If in doubt, a razor can get 99% of eggs off surfaces if you are careful.

I have ramshorns, and after I scrape them off, will they still hatch in a separate container? Thanks for the info!!!

Snail eggs do need to be humid to avoid drying out. If eggs are too wet or dry, the babies will not hatch.
