I had worried a bit that I might have a Ramshorn population explosion. I had a few that came in on plants, very tiny, and grew up in the tank and covered lots of surfaces with eggs. I have Ghost Shrimp in there, who never bothered them growing up, but I discovered today they are feasting on the eggs. That's OK -- I'm happy to let them strike some balance; if they all hatch I would be overrun. But thought people might be interested in seeing. Below is a reduced size shot, if you want to actually see the snails inside, the high resolution shot is here: http://www.captivephotons.com/photos/i-N2sqGZg/0/O/i-N2sqGZg.jpg (note it's about 20 megabytes so be patient). in the full resolution shot you can see nicely the shell shape of the snall, and the claws grabbing at them.
