Welcome to the forum,

Do you know about the nitrogen cycle and how it truly works? If not click the underlined words and it will lead you to an article about it. Is the tank cycled? It says you started the tank tommorow? Huh? If your tank is not cycled I would recommend doing so as putting fish in an uncycled tank is inhumane. Heres a few ways on how https://www.fishlore.com/aquariumfishforum/threads/four-methods-of-fish-less-cycling.48446/

Of course, when you are cycling you need to test your water. I would recommend you buy a test kit. Test kits and water conditioners and not a waste of money. Test kits will allow you to monitor your water chemistry and see if anything goes wrong.

Water conditioners are important as well. They remove chlorine and chloramine and some even detoxify ammonia which is highly beneficial. If you are letting your water sit 24 hours prior to doing a water change, it will dissipate chlorine but not chloramine which is just as deadly to fish. Water conditioners remove both to make your water safe for fish.

The amount of fish you can have in your tank depends on what kind of fish you want.

First off I would like to welcome you to FishLore donfromohio. I am not going to even ask some of the normal first questions because you posted you have been keeping fish for quite sometime so I am going to assume a few things but it would be nice if your profile had a bit more information on the tank and the water. You stated in the profile that in your eyes a test kit is a waste of money but it is hard to advise on what type of fish to keep if we don’t know the true pH, GH, DH, and temperature of the water. Some fish do better in low pH some in high, some fish do better in soft water and some in hard so without knowing a few test results I can not make any suggestions for stocking, but gosh a 90 gallon tank to stock, wow so many options to go with depending on the waters parameters.
