Slightly Unlevel Aquarium

hello this is Jacob. I reacently designed a 65 gallon tank for my parents and I just got it up and running a week ago, istant cycled with mature tank media and added a large amount of rosy reds to increase the amount of bio filtration I have before beginning to add the forever fish. Only problem is it’s slightly unlevel. I will show you how unlevel in a photo. My step father says that it isn’t enough to cause problems but I disagree and believe that we should lower the water a lot and then add a stint under the front left leg to level it. New hardwood floors were put in slightly unlevel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Some of mine are a tiny bit unleveled, I really wouldn’t worry. Unless you have over 100 gallons, I would just leave it.

My 90 gallon has been like that for the 8 years we've lived here & it hasn't been a problem! I actually made my husband try a shI'm but it made it even more off the other side so we left it.

How much different would you say the water level is from one side to the other?

It's a taller tank so I'd be a bit more worried than if it were a long tank, but your slant appears to be side to side rather than front to back, so that helps. It doesn't appear to be too much to cause worry though.

It’s about a third of an thing difference from the right and left side, by much but wanted to make sure that it was safe. Feel a lot more confident now though.

a third of an thing

I'm sorry what now? lol I think you got a typo in there!

To be clear, I'm asking how far in inches or MM do you think the water level varies from end to end? Like when the first end reaches the bottom edge of the black rim, how far is the other end from reaching it? If it's less than 1/4" or so, it's probably not gonna ever be an issue.

Sorry I mistyped and didn’t realize it. It Is a little less than a third of an inch.

If it were me, personally, I'd drain some water and try to shI'm the stand it's on. A lot of people here have tanks that are more uneven than that and have never had issues. Your tank is almost empty right now, basically no decorations. Now is the best time to do it, when you could easily drain 90% of the water without messing anything up.

Okay, I’ll try to do that. If I can’t get it level or figure it out I’ll leave it but I’ll attempt to level it.

As long as all four corners of the tank are firmly in contact with the stand, then no worries. If you do decide to shI'm the stand. It's best to use plastic composite shims.
It took me seven hours to shI'm and level my 120 gal. On our wavy flagstone floor. I wasn't able to level it any better than yours is. The tank has been up and running for approx two years. No problems.
