Can my 2 year old Betta be perfectly healthy sleeping all time at the bottom of the tank? Is it normal as they age?

Yep, it’s normal for them to become a bit less active and enthusiastic as they once were. Happens to all of mine.

Good to know. I do miss my perky happy fish. I have to stir him up with my net to get him to come up and eat. But he still eats aggressively and he looks good so I'm thinking it's old age. I believe he was an adult when I purchased him

I'll post some pics when I get home from work. His color got a little dull but when I added an aerator to give him some oxygen at the bottom he looks better
