Slate Cave Ideas

I'm getting some slate in the mail today. I would love to see your slate caves you’ve built!

 

Its been a while since I scaped with "Rainbow" Slate; but long peices of slate look good with one end buried deep into the substrate, while the exposed end angles upward. A rock can be placed under the slate to make a cave & ledge.
I found an ancient pic of my tank with some Rainbow Slate.
The far right rock is a chunk of slate. The rock pile in the middle has a couple of pieces of carved slate in the back. Sorry that's the best I could do regarding slate. Lol. Have fun creating your hardscape. Post pics.
