Slant on tank

gloryofthe80s

Hi all,

I've set up the new tank (600L system) 5ft x 2ft x 2ft (ish). It's on a wooden floor, which has a sold concrete base beneath it.

I've gotten it filled almost to the top only to realise there is a slight difference in the water level. The water level at one end is about 1cm (possibly slightly less) at one end that another. The stand is solid wood, so it's not going anywhere - but how much of a problem is this actually going to present?

If it helps, the picture attached shows the difference on a spirit level.

Calculating the difference, I'd technically need to raise the one side by 4mm.

Should I be worried?

Cheers,
Andy

None at all. Just would notice it at the rim. If it's not the rim itself. My 50G had a 1 inch incline forever before we moved and I found a level spot to place it.
