sisk fry

Befor I when away for the weekend I saw that one of my fish had its tail missing so I put some meds in the tank. I come back today to fined 4 fish on the gravel dying. I have no idea why. They are having problems swiming and look skinyer that the rest.

Any ideas?

 

What are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels? Are you doing daily water changes?

 

I do weekly water changes and the last one was 3 days ago. every thing in the tank is fine.....

 

You may want to bump up the water changes to more than once a week. Fry usually need extra clean water. Even if your numbers are alll good, they need "fresh" water more often. Discus are like that.

 

They are mollu fry and are just runts. they are over 3 months old. I have no idea what happened though. Maby the biger ones did not let them eat? I'm doing waterchange tonight and seperating the ones that are sick.
