Single spot?

Lily has a single--it's definitely the only one--white speck on her. I've dealt with ich, and while this is a white speck, it isn't rounded like the cysts of ich are. Her color is great, appetite, etc are also great.

The water temp is 84 degrees and I've been doing water changes every other day. Could this be ich again, or just a dead scale or something?

Where exactly is the spot? Any chance of posting a pic?

I'll -try- to get a pic, but the camera I own doesn't focus well at all. It's on her side, approx. halfway between the pectoral and caudal fins.

    Hello Hooxie,

It doesn't sound like ICH to me. See if this link will help you at all:

    Best wishes!

Could it just be debris? I've had that happen.
Try not to fret, just some extra stress coat, etc, you know the routine.

    Hooxie,
That same link may help you with the fish that has blisters that I saw another thread about.
    Best of luck!

Well good news; my concern was for nothing, it was in fact debris.
