i have a single six month old male krib in my 40 gallon tank....i don't expect to get him a mate, due to the type of stock i have....do you guys think he will be ok that way? or will he eventually need a mate...i love the little guy...my only fry to have survived....

Hi Raptor, he should be fine by himself, and if you do get him a mate they'll almost certainly spawn, so if you don't want fry I'd keep him by himself if I were you!

i would not mind a mate, but i'd be afraid of the aggression they might show towards there tank mates....i saw how tough his parents were on other fish even though it was a 12 gallon.

12 gallons is pretty small to have a pair of kribs and other fish though.....
