HOWDY!

Click on the pics to view a short video of each of my tanks!

I am still building all of them bit by bit but they are getting to a stage where I am pretty happy with them!

TANK #1 - Micro Reef
Size- 38L Aqua One AR380
filtration- Inbuilt trickle filter + external FLuval canister (MAJOR OVERFILTRATION!)
Light- Standard HO
Livestock- 2x maroon clowns -mated pair
1x bubble tip anenome
1x small crayfish
3inch coral sand bed
approx 5-6kg LIVE ROCK

TANK #2 - CICHLID
overstocked...but in process of setting up a second 4foooter
size- 4 foot
Filtration- Ehiem external canister filter
Light - standard aquatic flouro's
livestock:
2x electric Blue
4x Electric yellow
1x 6Bar frontosa
2x Salmon Cats
2x Weather loaches
2x hongI island
1x Peackock (I think)
1x Ghost knife
1x blue yabbie/crayfish
1 x breeding pair- also unidentified -will look into it further for names (got them off a mate who lost interest)
1x Unidentified---got it off a mate it is long, skinny, has black and orange bands all the way along body.. only comes out in the dark and is very shy.. although is at least 10 times the size of everything else in the tank

TANK #3 - REEFsize: 6 foot x 2 foot x 2 foot
Filtration: - 2x2foot sump
- external canister filter
- 6 x internal powerhead filters
Lighting: - Metal hallide unit
- Actinic unit
- 3x standard aquatic HO units
Livestock: 1x Port Jackson shark (about 1.6foot long)
1x Snowflake eels (almost 4foot long)
1x Lionfish
4x humbug damsels
4x poddy mullet
1x blue star
1x prickly leg star
1x urchin
2x hermit crabs
a few snails
Coral: 3x Finger corals
1x MASSIVE mushroom
1x small mushroom
zoanthids colonies poping up
a few morphs
LIVE ROCK: about 100KG + maybe more hard to tell.... there is HEAPS!!

I have rearranged it a few times... the last one is how it is at the moment!

you must spend a LOT of time working on those great-looking big tanks.

Indeed... it has become a bit of an obsession haha

I find it really relaxing to come home from work and just kick back and watch them...and adding new things is even better!

The Girlfriend does get jelous though! (so I bought her her own 3foot tropical tank) it kept her happy!
