Silver pencil fish drooping tail

HI

I was hoping someone could shed some light on what is happening to my pencil fish? They are still eating normally and movement is minimal they just "hover" in place.

My tank is 70ltrs I've tested the water it's fine the tank has been running for about a year with them in there. I performed a 20% water change last night.

I noticed his crooked spine about two days ago it hasn't improved or got any worse.

No change today and eating! This photo was taken yesterday evening!

 

Just checked on him and I've moved him to a hospital tank he is just sat at the bottom

 

Looks like old age. Was he an adult when you got him?
Age you can't treat, but the other possibility is a gut infection causing malnutrition, for which I would use metronidazole to treat.
