Ok so my tank has been set up for about a 7 months now. It is a 20 gallon fresh water tank. I had one neon tetra, a dalmatian molly, and a pleco in there by themselves for a while and I got a few new fish not some four weeks ago. I got two black mollies, both female, two silver mollies, one female one male, one betta fish, male and a few neon tetras. I just did a 50% water change and added 10 ml of water conditioner and 10 ml of bacteria. They were both of the TOP FIN brand and I added the conditioner and bacteria as instructed on the bottle. The betta was bullying the other fish so now he is in a separate tank. The male silver molly developed ICK a few days ago and I have been treating it with MARINELAND ICK REMEDY for four days now and I did remove the active carbon from the filter. He seems to be recovering, but my female silver molly's gills are turning a blackish-brownish color and I don't know what is causing it. She doesn't appear to have ICK. Sometimes she is very active and others she just sits at the bottom of the tank or tries to hide. She still eats at very feeding time. I don't think she looked like that when I got her, but I don't think it's anything to worry about. I just wanted to know if other people have had this happen before.
