Silver Molly Mouth Wide Open

My silver molly all of a sudden swam franticlly in the tank hitting the bowl and plants. Minutes later it's mouthy become wide open. it has not closed at all. It does not appear to be gasping for air but it's mouth will not close.

Please advise what I should do...

 

what are the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings? what color are her gills? is there an air stone in the tank?

 

Water conditions are good. My platy and other molly are in good spirits. I think my molly was too excited during feeding time and swan so crazy she snaped her back. I thought the wide mouth open is her attempt to have fry. So sad. She is still mouth wide open but she does not appear to be able to swim. She also has a red ball like bump coming out of her anal. I do not think she will last to tomorrow. I thank you for your thoughts.

 

she may have ulcers. if you have melafix and no bettas or gourami you could try using that med on her.

 

She dropped one fry this morning. The fry is pre-mature. She is still mouth wide open but she has a bent back and is now swimming face down. She ate this morning like a vacumm cleaner. I have purchased the melafix and she is in the solution now.

I hope she gets better.
