Silicon Aquarium Safe?

Does anybody know if this silicon is aquarium safe?

Hard to say because on one hand it says 100% silicone, and on the other it claims to have protection against mold and fungus (which is what you DON'T want in theory). I wouldn't use it.

Okay thanks. I was thinking of siliconing piecebof slate together to make a walk but I’m pretty sure it can hold on its own

I would only buy silicone that is only for aquariums, or if it says safe for use in water.

As long as it is 100% silicone with no additives and no mold inhibitors it is safe. If you are buying Aquarium Silicone you are going to be spending 9-12$ per 8 oz bottle (or more $$). Which won't cover anything.

I got 10 oz of Aqueon silicone online for $15.


Kinda cheap, but it can be cheaper.

Check hardware stores. They might have off brand aquarium silicone for a lot cheaper.
