Silent Airpump

What’s everyone’s opinion on the quietest air pump? ? It’s in my bedroom and the marina 100 pump I have now is rediculous and can’t be left on overnight as again it’s in my bedroom - I’m in the UK and can order but I’m just looking for something that’s as quiet as possible. Cheers

 

I just sleep through my noisy pump.
Sadly, I cannot recommend a quiet pump, they all seem to noisy.

 

The Tetra Whispers are pretty quiet.

My tetra whisper 40 is very quiet. Its in my stand and I don't even hear it except for the bubbles popping. The stand isn't soundproofed either - and two of the sides are 1/4".

I might just need that, as mine is quite noisy.
Somehow managed to sleep through it, but that explains why my dream had noise in the background...

Every air pump I own, I take rubber bands and make a hash mark crisscross pattern around the outside of the body real tight (so it looks like a christmas ham). That reduces noise considerabley. Caution: do not cover the intake.

 

Also, if your air pump is noisy because it is rattling on the surface, hang it up or put it on a piece of felt.

 

Think I'm gonna get a Tetra whisper, they seem to be what everyone recommends or has good results with. Cheers everyone
