*Sigh* Penny-less but full of ideas.

Anyone ever been there before?

I've recently been having a bunch of ideas for setting up my empty 50 Gallon in terms of filtration, stocking, decor, plants, etc and when it all comes down to it, I realize that I have no money! Well, no money is an exaggeration. I don't have enough for fish supplies and everything though so for now it's just ideas. Hopefully they will be reality soon!

Here's what I'm thinking for anyone that might be interested.

2 Aqueon QuietFlow 55/75's for a total of 800 GPH WITH a few bags of bio-media in it and my OWN sponges.

An LED Bubble Wand because I hate regular bubble bars due to them floating up and basically insulting me. I kid you not I feel insulted when I see that stupid p-- *Sigh* calm, happy thoughts. Anyway...

Black CaribSea Tahitian Moon Sand

Water Wisteria or Java Fern, or both.

Now the best part. Fish!

I'm going to move my Pearlscale, Jackie from the 55 Gallon so I can take down the Berlin Wall (Divider) that I put up when Spotina (Fantail) started attacking her. Then I'm going to put Tiger in with Jackie!

Based on the 20-10 rule and accounting for my extra filtration, I want to either add 1 Red Cap Oranda and 1 Black Moor or Two Beautiful Butterfly Telescopes.

I also have some other ideas like getting a new frame for my 25 Gallon High since it's current one is unsticking from the tank and I also want to re-do my 10 Gallon Betta tank but I think Blue would get upset with me if I take his pineapple away.

Anyway! I'm done rambling. Tell me your thoughts!

It's a great idea, and I totally relate to your problems. First is my shrimp tank idea (no money), now it's my goldfish tank idea (no room OR money). Life is so hard

I feel you. I'm getting a 55 gallon in a few days, and all these great stocking ideas keep popping in my head "ooooo, I can get these fish that I was wanting and can't fit in my other tank. ..." I have to constantly remind myself that this is a grow out tank and I can't add extra fish, lol.
