I got some dwarf cories that were kept on gravel too long. They're lethargic and have no barbels. They are now in a tank with sand. What can I do to speed the healing process and increase their chances of survival?

Hi, as long as there’s no sign of infection then with good food, ( live or frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp etc if you can get it is great) keeping the substrate clean & pristine water ( extra water changes) the barbels should grow back though maybe not to their full glory. You could also use some Melafix as that does seem to be beneficial for corys with this problem.
