Hi my fish have been iching for some time and I’ve done water changes, ich treatment and parasite treatment. I really don’t know what to do now. They do not have any white spots.
They seem ok other than he iching and the silver dollars who have this markings on them. See photos

Water parameters are all fine, temp is 27. Substrate is sand. Really thought it was a parasite treatment would help but nothing. I have a plec in there who is a sunken belly too.

The SD's look really scratched up. Bump the temp. up to 87 degrees, and keep it there for 10 days. That should eliminate any possibility of Ick. Dose the tank with SeaChems StressGuard. Make sure the tank is well aerated.
Do you think the Pleco might be going after the SD's slime coat?

Is there something attached to the SD like a louse ?
I see what looks like split tails in a couple of the pics that could lice ??
Not ich .Does the SD get enough vegies ??
What are you feeding ,does the pleco have wood in the tank ?

Thank you, will up the tank and dose it.

We have massive pieces of wood in there for the plec, I thought it was sunken belly disease but now I’m wandering if it could be linked to what’s on the sd’s.

They have prima food, mussels and cucumber. Maybe I should try putting more veg in. I’ll try anything as getting really worried now.

The plec, doesn’t go near the sd’s.

I need to have another look to see if it’s lice maybe.
