Hey, I have a Sick Sailfin molly. I seperated from my community tank to my 10 gal. so i could treat him. he has ick. and i treated him. He doesnt act any different , he just has spots. I dont know what to do i have treated him twice with ick clear by jungle. He has only lost a few dots. Any medication ideas would help. thanks

you might try to raise the temperature of your tank temporarily to about 85 degrees. It will make the parasite go to free swimming phase and make it easier to kill.

Ich is a cold temperature disease.

    Hope your fish does well.

    Very good advice Chickadee!!
The few times I've had ich I just raised the temperature. But you have to leave it up at least 14 days. Then lower the temp gradually and the fish needs to be free of spots for an additional week before adding it back to the original tank. Hope that helps
