Sick rasbora (pic attached) help with diagnosis please!

Akins

One of my harlequin rasboras is suddenly sick. The fish looked fine yesterday, today the little one is pale, having trouble breathing and has pink/red gills. (see picture) he’s about 2.5 years old. I want to treat him with general cure but I’m not sure…

edit: I was wondering about his mouth too. He closed it a couple of times, but opened it again…

I’m thinking he got an infection or something in his gills and moved him to a hospital tank. (3 gallon)

the tank he was in:

20gal freshwater Planted tank. Mostly rasboras with one random guppy. The rest of the fish look fine.

PH looked about 7.4

Ammonia was 0ppm

Nitrite was 0 ppm

Nitrate was 0ppm

temperature 78.6

I put a drop of methylene blue and measured out metroplex and kanaplex :(

edit: he seems to be getting better. He even ate.
I guess I’ll leave this here for anyone with a similar issue.
I’m still not sure what happened to him…
