Sick Platy - Ich or worms?

So I've been treating my little 10 gallon with Kordon Attack Ich since my two platies looked liked they had a few of the white salt like spots around their tail. Now, I'm starting to doubt myself if it's ich, as one of my platy is showing a red posterior. Sometimes it looks like a red dot, and sometimes it looks like it's going to burst. Pics below show the two platies, with the yellow one having the red dot. The silver one still shows the white dot.

Pictures:
Platy 2 - Silver platy with one white dot on tail
Platy 3 - Yellow platy with small red dot on posterior
Platy 4 & 5 - Red dot looking like it's going to burst

Platy behavior - 1 or 2 weeks back, both platies lost their appetite and would just hide. During feeding time, the yellow platy will actively look for food but seems to always spit it out, while the silver one just stays near the surface but doesn't seem to put anything in its mouth. Since I've been treating with Attack Ich, the yellow platy has become more active (doesn't hide), lost two of the white spots, but has that red thing going on. The silver platy has been breathing at a more rapid pace, is inactive and the white dot remains. Any ideas?

The tank is well planted with some CPD, RCS, snails and one spotted blue eye rainbow fish. They all don't seem to be affected and are quite active. Water readings are normal; 0, 0 & 5-10ppm nitrate.

Good afternoon,

The Yellow Platy seems to be experiencing a Prolapse. There really isn't much you can do in this case but let Mother Nature take her course. It may contract on its own, but the chances of this happening are slim.

I do not believe the fish have ICH according to the photos above. If your fish have ICH they will appear to have been sprinkled with salt all over the fish and not just 1 or 2 dots. Sometimes fish may get a pimple looking area and it may well heal on its own.

Keep an eye on it. If it develops into a fungus, then treatment may be necessary.

Thanks Ken. Sadly the silver mickey passed away this morning. I think it starved itself, b/c I never saw it eat anything for some time. The yellow one seems to be doing better, with fins fanned out more but is still picky with food.

Good morning,

Sorry to hear that you lost 1. I know it isn't easy. Sometimes things happen beyond our control.

Lost the other platy this morning. Sad to see my first two fishes pass away. It's been more than 3 1/2 months since I started this for my two little boys at my wife's insistence, but who knew that I'd get attached to these little fishes. Hopefully I'll do better with my CPDs and what I just found out to be a Norman's Lampeye instead of a Spotted Blue Eye (accidentally shipped with the CPDs).
