Sick Platty???

HI Guys....suddenly my male golden platty has just been lying at the bottom of the tank..I'm not sure what to do. I checked my water and all is good...I'm at a loss any ideas?

As I sit here drinking my coffee watching my fish.... could one be too aggressive to the other?? One platty seems to chase the others all over the tank ...I wonder if that's what's wrong

 

What size tank? Whats the full stock? What are the exact parameters?

What kind of pleco is it? The tank is fairly over stocked which is leading to agression. Look into rehoming the swordtails or upgrading to a larger tank

Id rehome all swords and one of the mollies. Otherwise you will have too many fry in the tank, and the males will pester the females to death since you don't have many of them.

 

 

I took the sword tail back yesterday because he was just too aggressive for the tank but sadly was not in time to save the golden as he passed today. However the general feeling of the tank is calmer now, ☹ too bad I lost 2 fishies in the process
