Sick Fish In 4 Gallon

So long story short I adopted 4 neon tetras with mouth fungus and bad fins last night.

I am currently using API Fungus Cure and General Cure (that same day owner gave them to petco for adoption).

Should I leave my air stone battery operated on all 24/7?

It was meant as emergency for my 15 gallon Charidae tank but hooked it up to the 4 gallon bucket today. The air stone is inside a diver helmet decoration to help out. Did the 100% water replacement this morning before meds and feeding small amounts of food.

if you don't have a filter, then yes leave it on 24/7. test the water parameters daily. you may have to do daily water changes to avoid ammonia poisoning.

Thanks. I don’t have a filter so I will leave it on.

I might just do daily water changes 20% just to make sure.

I adopted them because a 6” opaline gourami was eyeing him in the adoption tank.
