Sick betta mystery

Hello!
Im having a hard time with these two bettas in figuring out what is going on.

BETA #1 (red and neon tea
is an elderly betta maybe 2-3 years old. She has recently in the last 1-2 months had this discolored patch on the side of her body that seems to be getting slightly bigger ever so slowly.
My first thought was columnaris since I’ve had that in my tank before and it
presented the same way but she never got worse and the fins didn’t fry up. My next thought is slime coat disease? I have
isolated her and this other betta for treatment they went through a 10 day course of amoxicillin + aquarium salt and nothing changed. Now they are on day 5 of metronidazole and still. Nothing. I’m at a loss now and I just want this old lady to feel better. (Don’t mind the cataracts hahah)

BETA #2 (blue and yellow)
Is this beautiful small male that was a “baby girl!” From petco *rolls eyes* he is fairly young. Has a HUGE belly that I cannot figure out. It’s not dropsy, it’s just huge. I tried to get the best views of him but hes always liked to hide. The second thing that puzzles me about his is that he has a similar discoloration or holes? On his face. It’s hard to tell if it’s discoloration or holes because of how dark his face is. But I assumed it’s the same thing that my elderly female betta has. He was isolated with her and treated the same and nothing have changed.

I would be so appreciative if someone could help me solve this!

For the female betta it looks like a very very slow moving bacterial infection. Waterchanges every 2 days for a few weeks should stop it from spreading, if not make it disappear.
Onto the male- he looks very bloated. How much are you feeding him?

Metronidazole only works on anaerobic bacteria. Amoxicillin is for Gram positive bacteria.

Most bacterial infections of fish are by Gram negative aerobes.

Any suggestions on what to try and treat the female with?
when I had her in the 1 gal isolation tank I did daily water changes 25-50%.

For the male, he just eats what comes out of the automatic feeder. I have it set for 2x a day. It’s got a mixture of foods but just enough for all my fish to get some food at least 1 of the feedings.

I’m not sure on the exact med for the female. I know seachem kanaplex is good for bacterial infections.
For the male I would reduce the feeding to once a day. He looks pretty overfed.
