Siamese Algae Eater, mating display???

I just saw my SAE's showing a mating display or fighting.

The coloration on them isn't that great either. They seem to lose their black stripe when they fight or are mating.

It could be. When I see mating behavior in mine their stripe gets a lot darker than normal.

Hmm. The stripe fades when they fight or mate for me. They seem fine now I guess they were just playing. It seems whenever they fight the stripe fades, but when they're done the color comes back.
