Can anybody recommend a shrimp safe fertilizer for a sand only substrate?
I use the seachem line of fertilizers and keep RCS with no issues.
I'm pretty sure all ferts are safe for shrimp if dosed correctly, or else people wouldn't buy them For the type of fert, what light are you using? Any CO2?
I have some pretty intense LEDsand I don't have any co2 yet
Is it a specific brand? And it sounds like you plan on CO2, so I'd go for a fert with higher macros. Nilocg ThriveS is an all in one made specifically for shrimp tanks, I use their regular thrive and I like it a lot.
I have an aqeuon 30 inch LED light and Co2 is for later tbh. All my plants are pretty low tech so I'm not terribly worried
Honestly I'd still go with ThriveS.
