Shrimp/Quarantine Tank

I started thinking last night about my quarantine tank. It's a five gallon.
I wondering If I could do it as a shrimp/quarantine tank.
I wouldn't want ghost shrimp I know that already. I already have 5 ghost shrimp in my 55g. I was thinking like 3 of one species of shrimp and 3 of another species.

What's your opinions?

If you intend to use this tank as a QT/hospital tank in the future, I would not recommend adding shrimp. Most meds will kill shrimp and disease could be transferred to the shrimp as well.

I don't treat with meds. I only will be putting fish in this tank for the first few days to make sure there not sick.

If you don't use meds you could. I don't know any disease that can be transferred from fish to shrimp. That's why most people don't quarantine shrimp.
