I'm probably going to end up buying a tank for just shrimp, Ive decided its gonna be 5-10gal with sand. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.
Feeding and cleaning are what im most concerned about.
Also would they need a filter or any type of plug-ins?

Shrimp are just like fish and need a filter and heater and such. Sponge filters are great for shrimp, sponge filters are cheap and shrimp safe and shrimp love to hang out on them and graze on the biofilm that grows on the surface of it. Shrimp really need plenty of plants to thrive (live plants). For feeding you can just feed boiled vegetables (peas, carrots, kale etc are good), or if you want you can buy a commercial shrimp food. Shrimp do need some protein so you just drop some bloodworms or high protein pellet foods in every once in a while.

What live plants can you do for these saltwater shrimp?
I know there are saltwater plants that shrimp like, but I don’t really know about specific kinds, but I’m sure there are corals and saltwater plants and such you can find that are good for shrimp if you post a thread on it here on fishlore or do some research on the internet elsewhere.
