I found the shell of one my Amano shrimp this morning. I was about to remove it but I read online u don't have to and that it actually may provide a source of nutrients for the plants and that the shrimp may even forage off it? Is this true? Do I not remove it at all even after days pass?

You should leave it in. The shrimp will eat it :).
(if they are anything like ghost or cherry shrimp)

Fine by me! One less thing to clean up. Lol Thanks!

I would leave it, I believe they eat it and it helps their new layer harden faster or something like that. Or it provides calcium for them.
